Air Algérie revealed Thursday the winners of the tender it launched last year to acquire 15 new aircraft to strengthen its fleet and open new routes.

The provisional results of the tender have been revealed through a press release, indicating that the state-owned airline will purchase eight Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft, five Airbus A330-900s and two A350-1000s.
Air Algérie also reported that it will strengthen its fleet by leasing ten aircraft: four A330-200/300, two A330-900 and four Boeing 737 (two -800 and two -900).
