Air Lease Corporation (ALC) announced Monday long-term lease agreements for 18 new Boeing 737-8 aircraft with EgyptAir, to be delivered between 2025 and 2026.
This is the first agreement between ALC and the Egyptian airline and the first addition of a 737-8 to EgyptAir’s fleet.

“As the leading airline in North Africa, EgyptAir will continue to excel in the market with these 18 Boeing 737-8 aircraft that will replace the airline’s aging narrow-body fleet, significantly enhancing the airline’s operations and competitiveness,” said Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, Chief Executive Officer of Air Lease Corporation.
