Air Century inaugurates new routes to the Caribbean from Punta Cana

With the arrival of the flight from Cartagena, Colombia, Air Century inaugurates its new route network from Punta Cana International Airport, serving the most important destinations in the Caribbean.

In addition to Cartagena, in this first stage from Punta Cana, the airline will fly to Sint Maarten and Havana, starting December 19; and Aruba and Curacao starting December 22, with flights operated by CRJ200 aircraft, offering its travelers new connection possibilities between these destinations while contributing to the growth of tourism in the country.

“We are very pleased to inaugurate this new route network from Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ), the main gateway for tourists to the country, and to offer them more connection options to the Caribbean. Connectivity is key to tourism development. With these routes we seek to promote the concept of multi-destinations, so that our passengers have the opportunity to choose itineraries that allow them to collect unforgettable experiences in these Caribbean cities,” said Omar Chahin, president of Air Century.

Flights to Aruba and Curacao will be on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; while flights to Sint Maarten, Havana and Cartagena will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. Scheduled connections are: Sint Maarten – Cartagena: Thursday and Sunday and Sint Maarten – Havana: Tuesday and Thursday.

With the inauguration of this new route network from Punta Cana, Air Century reaffirms its commitment to tourism and business generation in the Caribbean, contributing to its development.
