Ryanair announced Thursday the opening of a new base in Trieste (Italy) starting April 24, which will feature a new Boeing 737 8-200 aircraft and will create up to 600 jobs (including jobs for pilots, cabin crew and engineers) following an investment of $100 million.
With the new base, Ryanair will operate the largest operations in its history to/from Trieste this summer, offering the city’s citizens and visitors low fares on 16 routes, including 5 new routes to Berlin, Brindisi, Krakow, Paris and Seville.
