United Airlines announced Friday a new nonstop route between Chicago and Athens, Greece, which will be available from May 23 to August 11, 2024.
The route will operate one daily flight on Boeing 787-8 aircraft with capacity for 243 passengers: 28 in Business Class, 21 in Premium Plus, 36 in Economy Plus and 158 in Economy.

The flight will take off from Chicago at 16:35, arriving in the Greek capital at 10:50 (local time). From Athens it will depart at 12:45, landing at O’Hare Airport at 16:25 (local time).
