Delta Air Lines announced its expansion plan in Central Texas with the launch of three new nonstop routes from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport to Denver, Columbus, and Kansas City. This is complemented by increased flight frequencies to San Francisco and Indianapolis, solidifying the airline’s commitment to the Texas market.
Paul Baldoni, Delta’s Senior Vice President of Network Planning, emphasized that these decisions are part of the strategy to strengthen the network and offer “more ways for customers to get to where they want to go,” reinforcing Delta’s role as Austin’s leading global airline.

Expansion of Existing Routes
San Francisco: Starting April 13, 2026, this route will increase from 1 to 2 daily flights, operated using an Airbus A319.
Indianapolis: Effective June 7, 2026, service will increase from 1 to 3 daily flights, strengthening business and tourism links to the Midwest.
Over One Million Passengers in 2025
The airline has already transported over one million passengers to and from Austin this year, representing a 12% year-over-year growth. At this pace, Delta is expanding its footprint with routes to Palm Springs in November, and flights to Cancun and Los Cabos in December.
Sky Club and Permanent Crew Base
The Delta Sky Club in Austin continues to stand out in the global network for its Texas-inspired design and a premium beverage menu focused on tequila and mezcal. It has ranked first in customer satisfaction in the southern region for three consecutive years.
Furthermore, a permanent flight attendant base will open in Austin in October, bolstering operations and underscoring the long-term commitment to Central Texas.
