Hawaiian Airlines to Resume Seasonal Route Between Honolulu and Auckland Starting in November
Hawaiian Airlines is preparing for the return of its seasonal flights connecting Honolulu and Auckland. Starting November 16, 2025, the route will operate three times per week until the end of April 2026, offering passengers direct flights between New Zealand and Hawaii, plus one-stop connections to and from the U.S. mainland.

Thanks to the strength of our combined global network, every passenger flying from Hawaii, the U.S. mainland, or New Zealand will now have more choices than ever to explore the world,” said Andrew Stanbury, South Pacific Regional Director for Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines.

Service Details and Onboard Comfort
The service will be operated by the 278-seat Airbus A330, a spacious aircraft offering complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi thanks to Starlink technology. The aircraft features 18 Business Class seats that recline fully in a 2-2-2 configuration, ideal for couples, honeymooners, and business travelers seeking privacy and comfort.
Furthermore, the 68 Extra Comfort seats—soon to be renamed Premium Class—offer extra legroom, priority boarding, and additional amenities to enhance the travel experience.
Peak Season: Austral Summer and Holidays
The seasonal service operates during the Southern Hemisphere summer, when New Zealand comes alive with its warm weather and blooming landscapes. It’s the perfect time to explore wine regions like Marlborough and Hawkes Bay, or to venture onto one of the country’s 11 iconic Great Walks.
Additionally, the schedule aligns with the peak holiday season, offering ideal connectivity for both tourists and residents traveling to the United States or Hawaii.
