The ultra-low-cost carrier JetSmart has set a new milestone in the regional aviation industry with the launch of “All You Can Fly.” This new annual membership allows passengers to take unlimited flights across its entire South American network for 12 months, paying only the corresponding fees and taxes for each segment.
A Disruptive Model in the Ultra-Low-Cost Market
With this initiative, JetSmart introduces an innovative consumption scheme aligned with its Ultra-Low-Cost business model. The primary objective is to offer unprecedented freedom of movement in Latin America, eliminating the barrier of individual ticket costs for high-frequency travelers.
The membership allows subscribers to redeem flights on any direct route operated by the airline. A key feature of this program is the absence of a minimum or maximum limit on redemptions during the year of validity, making spontaneity the core of the traveler’s experience.
Operational Conditions and Booking Flexibility
To ensure operational efficiency and service availability, the airline has established specific booking windows for flight management:
- Domestic Routes: Reservations can be made up to 24 hours prior to departure.
- International Flights: Redemptions must be completed at least 72 hours in advance.
It is important to note that all redemptions are subject to seat availability on the selected flights, requiring the user profile to be flexible and adaptable to the platform’s current offerings.
Commercial Strategy and Launch Value
JetSmart’s Chief Commercial Officer, Víctor Mejía, noted that this product caters to a passenger profile that values the ability to decide on a destination at the last minute. According to the executive, “All You Can Fly” represents a completely different way of traveling in the region, adapting to emerging consumer trends.
Subscription Details:
- Special Launch Price: 383,900 Chilean Pesos (approximately US$ 420).
- Availability: Limited slots until stock is exhausted.
- Validity: 12 months from the date of subscription.
With this move, the firm seeks to reinforce its commitment to the democratization of the skies in the Southern Cone. By simplifying the cost structure for recurring users, the airline aims not only to increase its load factors but also to establish itself as the preferred choice for the traveler segment seeking freedom and simplicity in both international and domestic travel.
