American Airlines resumed direct flights between Miami and Caracas this Thursday, ending a seven-year suspension and reactivating a strategic air bridge between South Florida and the Venezuelan capital.

Schedule and Operational Frequencies

The airline has designed a progressive growth strategy to meet demand on this key route:

  • Initial Frequency: Starting this Thursday, the carrier is operating one daily flight.
  • Expansion: Beginning May 21, a second daily frequency will be added, doubling the operational capacity on the route.

First Daily Frequency:

  • Miami (MIA) – Caracas (CCS): Departure at 10:15; Arrival at 13:35.
  • Caracas (CCS) – Miami (MIA): Departure at 14:40; Arrival at 18:13.

These services will be operated by Envoy Air, a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Airlines. The aircraft selected for this route is the Embraer 175, an airframe that offers a balance between efficiency and passenger comfort.

The E175 features a total capacity of 76 seats, arranged in a two-class configuration to cater to various traveler profiles:

  • Business Class: 12 seats.
  • Economy Class: 64 seats.
