The airline Air Europa has announced this Wednesday the cancellation of operations scheduled for September for flights to and from Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay and Peru.

The company explained that this decision is due to the closure of passenger traffic due to the pandemic in some American countries.

“Due to the closure of passenger traffic due to the pandemic, in some countries of America we have been forced to cancel operations scheduled for September, these include flights to and from Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay and Peru,” the company has stated on its website. Specifically, the flights covered routes between Madrid and Asunción, Bogotá, Buenos Aires, Lima and Medellín.

However, subject to the relevant approvals, Air Europa will operate weekly repatriation flights to these countries. In addition, the remaining long-range flights, on scheduled flights to America and during September, continue to operate normally to Guayaquil, Miami, New York, Quito, San Pedro Sula, Santo Domingo and Sao Paulo.
