Venezuela: Bio-security mechanisms are incorporated into spaces at the Maiquetía airport.
The authorities at the Simon Bolivar International Airport, known as Maiquetía, expedited the work of adapting to the “new normality”, following the integration of new biosecurity mechanisms.
Despite the changes at the airport’s headquarters, it has not yet notified a date for the resumption of flights that were banned due to the measures adopted by the national government to mitigate the increase in COVID-19 infections in the country.
The images published show the beginning of the adaptation of the air terminal spaces with hygiene and industrial safety equipment in boarding rooms, commercial premises and counters.
For its part, the union of airlines has requested the President of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro the gradual and progressive reopening of flights.
