Cathay Pacific has delayed delivery of its Boeing 777-9 aircraft until 2025 as part of a comprehensive restructuring of the airline, said airline President Patrick Healy.

The company, based in Hong Kong, has ordered 21 Boeing 777-9 aircraft, with deliveries previously scheduled to start in 2021 and continue until 2024.
However, Boeing announced on July 30 that the delayed 777X will go into service in 2022.
