The first Airbus A220-300 of the Jetblue leaves the paint shop, sporting a new design in its vertical stabilizer called “Hops”.

The new aircraft will be delivered to the Airbus factory in Mobile, Alabama, in December, and will begin operations with the airline in 2021.

Jetblue has orders for 70 A220-300 aircraft, which will replace 60 Embraer E190s.

The airline plans to add seven more in 2021 and eight in 2022.
