The National Institute of Civil Aeronautics of Venezuela (INAC) published a statement in its twitter account indicating that as of this November 2nd, the restriction of air operations in the national territory is extended, in view of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the exception of commercial air operations in the El Gran Roque Airport.

Emergency operations, cargo and mail flights, technical landings, humanitarian flights, repatriation or flights authorized by the United Nations and cargo and commercial overflights are exempted.

The INAC reported the closure of the airports of Maiquetía (SVMI), Maracaibo (SVMC), Porla ma r (SVMG), Barcelona (SVBC), Barquisimeto (SVBM), Valencia (SVVA), Punto Fijo (SVJC), San Antonio del Táchira (SVSA), Santo Domingo (SVSO), Puerto Ordaz (SVPR), Maturín (SVMT) and Caracas (SVCS), for international flights entering by prevention of COVID-19, except for commercial air operations between Venezuela and Turkey, Dominican Republic, Mexico and Iran, according to NOTAM C0925/20 and A0424/20.
