Air Greenland, Greenland’s flag carrier, has placed an order with Airbus for the new generation of Airbus A330neo aircraft.
The new A330-800 will replace the airline’s Airbus A330-200s to ensure operations linking the Arctic island to Denmark from the end of 2022.

“The A330neo is a key part of Air Greenland’s fleet strategy. The new aircraft will offer, over the next few years, travellers to and from Greenland a unique flying experience. The A330neo fits perfectly into the challenging task of providing safe and efficient year-round services for passengers, cargo and freight to and from Greenland,” said Jacob Nitter Sørensen, Air Greenland’s managing director.
