The Colombian airline Avianca increased its operational capacity by 23% nationally and internationally, compared to the one operated in November. Thus, facing the high season at the end of the year, the airline has a total of 766 frequencies in 62 routes for Colombia (29 domestic and 33 international).

For the Colombian domestic market, the airline has made a commitment to offer more connectivity options on the routes of greatest demand on flights from Bogota to cities such as Medellin, Cali, Bucaramanga, Cartagena, Pereira and Santa Marta.

Internationally, traveling from Colombia, the frequencies increased by 104%, as it went from operating 93 weekly frequencies to 190 since December.
“Since the reactivation of domestic and international flights in the country, the airline has ensured the activation of more and more routes and more frequencies to meet the current demand of passengers, so that we can generate a profitable and sustainable growth in the market,” said Julian Laverde, Vice President of Network Operations of Avianca Holdings.
