Emirates announced that it will operate the Airbus A380 on its Dubai – Sao Paulo route between 9 and 30 January 2021.
The aircraft will fly four times a week to Sao Paulo, in response to increased demand for travel to and from Brazil during the summer season.

It will be the first time the iconic aircraft has returned to South America since flights were suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
The airline had already resumed passenger flights to Sao Paulo last August with the Boeing 777-300ER.
