Ryanair cancelled 12 routes, including international and domestic, from the UK on Monday due to what it called a sudden change in policy related to Brexit by the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) that made it impossible to operate the routes.

Europe’s largest low-cost airline said it had agreed Brexit contingency arrangements with the CAA two years ago, but the authority had introduced new regulatory barriers on Sunday, 10 days before the end of Brexit’s transition period in Britain, Reuters reported.
“We are disappointed to have to cancel 12 UK domestic and international routes (Morocco and Ukraine) from London, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh, Belfast and Derry due to the unexpected change in AAC policy last night,” Ryanair said in a statement.
