The Cabildo of Tenerife has hosted this Wednesday the presentation of ‘Canarian Airways‘, a new airline “100% Canarian” led by Tenerife hoteliers and One Airways that will start operating from the second half of June from Tenerife South Airport with a single aircraft.

This new airline, which also has the participation of the Cabildo of Tenerife, will start selling and booking tickets from next March and, in principle, will fly to destinations such as Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Glasgow, Cardiff and Berlin, EuropaPress reported.
The presentation ceremony was attended by the president of the Cabildo, Pedro Martín; the Councilor for Tourism, José Gregorio Martín Plata; the spokesperson of the Grupo Sí Podemos Canarias, María José Belda; the director of the company, Jorge Marichal, and the member of the Board of Directors and CEO of the airline, Óscar Trujillo.
