Emirates will resume flights to Newark via Athens.

Emirates announced Monday that it will resume daily services to Newark via Athens from June 1, 2021.

With the addition of Newark via Athens, Emirates’ U.S. network will have 10 destinations following the resumption of services to Seattle, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York JFK, Washington DC, Dallas and San Francisco (which will resume on March 2).

The Dubai-Athens-Newark flight will operate daily with a three-class Boeing 777-300ER, complementing Emirates’ daily double flights to New York (JFK).

The resumption of the flight will provide global travelers with another access point to the popular New York metropolitan area, serving the large Greek-American community in the United States, while offering a convenient connection to travelers heading to the Middle East, West Asia and Africa via Dubai.
