In-Flight Experience and Themed Inauguration

Under the theme “Egret Island’s Sea Breeze and British Charm,” the carrier created an immersive experience for passengers aboard the inaugural flight, blending cultural elements from Fujian and the UK.

  • At the airport: The check-in counters and boarding gate featured photo backdrops showcasing Xiamen’s coastline alongside classic British icons, including Big Ben, red double-decker buses, and traditional telephone boxes. Passengers also participated in an interactive trivia contest prior to boarding.
  • Onboard: Travelers were presented with commemorative 3D boarding passes and exclusive baggage tags, complemented by British music and a bespoke ambient cabin fragrance. Upon reaching cruising altitude, the cabin crew served two signature mocktails crafted specifically for the maiden voyage.

The launch of the Xiamen–London route strengthens the airline’s long-haul network while driving global connectivity and cultural exchange for Fujian province.
