State-owned Saudia Airlines plans to order 70 aircraft from Airbus and Boeing, Saudi media outlet Maaal reported Monday, citing unnamed sources.

Saudia is in talks with local banks to raise 11.5 billion rials ($3.07 billion) to partially finance an order for Airbus A321 and Boeing 777 and 787 Dreamliner aircraft, Maaal said.
The report did not break down how many aircraft of each type the airline plans to buy.

A banker, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Reuters that Saudia was in the market to raise debt for an order of around 70 new planes.
The airline’s 144-plane fleet already includes A321s, 777s and 787s.
