Dubai Aerospace orders 15 Boeing 737 MAX jets.
Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) on Tuesday announced an order for 15 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, signalling an end of a standoff between the aircraft leasing giant and aircraft manufacturers over pricing.
Dubai’s state-owned DAE abandoned plans in 2019 to place a large order with Airbus and Boeing after saying it could not reach agreements on pricing.

“We are delighted to deepen our already strong relationship with Boeing. We are confident of the success of these aircraft as domestic and regional air travel is seeing strong signs of recovery, DAE CEO Firoz Tarapore said in a statement.
The order, worth $1.8 billion at list prices, although discounts are customary, is also a further show of confidence in the 737 MAX aircraft.
