A TAP Airbus A321LR reached a milestone on Monday when it flew for 10 hours and 7 minutes non-stop from Mozambique to Cape Verde.
According to the Portuguese airline, it was the longest flight made by an A321LR, setting a new record for the single-aisle aircraft.

The aircraft took off from Maputo, capital of Mozambique, at 8:59 a.m. (UTC) and landed at 7:15 p.m. at the airport in Praia, a city in the Cape Verde archipelago, covering an incredible distance of 4,703 miles.
“That’s right! We have a new record, with our longest flight in an A321 LR. Our CS-TXA connected Maputo Bandera of Mozambique to the city of Praia Bandera of Cape Verde in a flight of 10 hours and 7 minutes,” TAP commented on its social networks.
