American Airlines announced that it has increased its operations between Miami and Barranquilla from 1 to 2 daily flights, which will be operated with Airbus A319 aircraft.
The announcement was made during the airline’s sixth anniversary in the city of Barranquilla, according to Caracol.
“Today we are transporting to Miami around 1,600 passengers every week. We continue to bet on Barranquilla, adding new routes and frequency. We are proud to introduce our second daily flight to Miami from Barranquilla,” said Omar Nottaro, American Airlines director for Colombia and Ecuador.
The first flight takes off in the early morning hours and the second flight around noon. This new frequency allows passengers more flexibility and time for their connections.
