Ryanair has announced that it is extending 200,000 seats on its flight offer from the UK to the Balearic cities of Ibiza and Palma, as well as Malta, following the inclusion of these destinations on the UK’s green list.
In addition, the Irish airline has asked Grant Shapps to immediately add the Canary Islands, Cyprus and the Greek islands to this list due to their very similar coronavirus infection rates, which are low and similar to those of the recent additions.

To celebrate this decision, Ryanair has launched a seat offer with flights starting from €19.99 for travel until the end of September 2021. This promotion will be available until midnight on Sunday, June 27, on the Ryanair.com website.
“This news is a step in the right direction and while we welcome the addition of the Balearics and Malta to the UK’s green list, we call on the Government to immediately add equally safe destinations such as the Canary Islands, Cyprus and the Greek islands. In addition, we also call on it to allow vaccinated UK and EU citizens to travel freely between the UK and the EU without restrictions,” said Ryanair’s Dara Brady.
