LATAM Colombia has requested authorization from the Civil Aeronautics to operate the Barranquilla-Miami-Barranquilla route, according to the agency.

The application, dated July 9, 2021, indicates that the airline plans to operate between the Atlantic and South Florida seven times a week on Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.
LATAM would thus enter into competition with Avianca, American Airlines operating from Barranquilla to Miami and Spirit Airlines operating to Fort Lauderdale.
