Alaska Airlines inaugurated its non-stop flights to Belize City from Seattle and Los Angeles on Friday.
Flights to Belize will operate four times weekly from Los Angeles and twice weekly from Seattle on Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

Given the strong demand for flights to Belize the airline intends to fly the Los Angeles-Belize City route year-round.
“For nearly two decades, the Belize market has been on our radar. We are thrilled to inaugurate service from Seattle and Los Angeles,” said Brett Catlin, Alaska Airlines’ vice president of networks and alliances. “Belize offers excellent family and environmental opportunities, from iconic islands to lush jungles to ancient sites. And it’s closer than you might think: From Los Angeles, it’s just a five-hour flight, and from Seattle, six hours.”
