Brazilian airline GOL resumes flights between Sao Paulo and Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) starting today, Saturday, November 13.
The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) on Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.

Flights will take off from Sao Paulo at 14:00, landing in Punta Cana at 20:05. From Republica Dominica will depart at 22:40, arriving at Guarulhos airport at 06:50 the following day. Estimated flight time is 7 hours.
“The reopening of the route also allows the possibility of exploring concerns, establishing alliances and achieving new negotiations between our Ministry of Tourism (Mitur) and the airline,” said René Contreras, director of the Tourism Promotion Office (OPT) in Brazil.
