Wingo renewed the IOSA certification or Operational Safety Audit granted by the International Air Transport Association – IATA, being the only Colombian low-cost airline with such recognition.
With the IOSA certification, Wingo demonstrates that its safety oversight and operational management systems are internationally recognized and accepted by a community of 437 airlines. This certification creates a worldwide comparable benchmark to ensure high standards in the execution of its operations and homogeneity in the internal and external operations audit processes.

This audit process evaluates 900 standards and practices in air safety operations, flight and ground operations, engineering and maintenance, cargo and special cargo transportation, as well as dispatch and operational control.
