Aerolineas Argentinas resumes flights to Rome starting in June
Aerolineas Argentinas announced Monday that it will resume flights between Rome and Buenos Aires as of June 2. The route will operate three weekly frequencies (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday).
It should be noted that the route had been suspended since March 2020 due to the COVID pandemic and the restrictions imposed in the European country that were recently relaxed allowing full entry of passengers from Argentina.

“This news fills us with joy because it means operating again a traditional route in Aerolíneas’ offer. Rome is a destination that is linked to the country by very strong cultural and historical ties. It is a route that will also serve to continue expanding the offer to inbound tourism, something that, as we know, is key to the economic development of the entire sector,” said Pablo Ceriani, president of Aerolíneas Argentinas.
Aerolíneas Argentinas is in the midst of an expansion plan of its domestic and international routes with important news for the high winter season: the company recently confirmed a new route that will link Salta with Sao Paulo, as well as the return of the operation from Brasilia, Curitiba and Porto Alegre.
In the same line, the airline had announced the return of daily flights between Buenos Aires and Madrid, where it currently operates 5 weekly flights. This extension will be effective as of April 5.
