Spanish airline Iberia confirmed to the newspaper El Nacional that it will suspend its Madrid-Caracas-Madrid route between June and September.
“Flights on that route would be temporarily suspended for the entire summer season,” the company said through its communication channels. Iberia, however, did not clarify the reasons for this measure.
→ Iberia add nine aircraft to its fleet in first half of 2022.
The airline said that, regarding alternative routes, itineraries may be changed and depart from Tocumen International Airport, in Panama, or from Las Americas International Airport, in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It also offers the reimbursement of the money corresponding to the tickets purchased for those dates.
