Spirit Airlines announced Wednesday four new routes from Newark, with daily nonstop flights to Indianapolis, Los Angeles, Oakland and Pittsburgh.
In addition, the airline will add two flights, on May 5 and 8, to Louisville to provide New Jersey customers with easy access to the Kentucky Derby.

“We know people are eager to travel this summer, and we’re happy to add new high-value options for customers looking to visit friends and family in northern New Jersey or for those looking for affordable options to travel from the state across the country,” said John Kirby, Spirit Airlines’ vice president of Network Planning.
The airline will offer 24 peak-day departures in Newark, doubling in size compared to 2019.
