Viva arrives in the department of Huila to connect the Benito Salas Airport with the Rafael Núñez International Airport, giving the inhabitants of Neiva the opportunity to reach the Colombian Caribbean and connect with destinations such as Mexico City, through its direct route from Cartagena to the Mexican capital.

The Neiva – Cartagena route will have three weekly frequencies on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. In this way, Viva becomes the first airline in history to exclusively connect Neiva with Cartagena nonstop.

Viva inaugurates new route in Medellin and Punta Cana.

“At Viva we continue to give Colombia the Tour of Colombia. Today we take off from Neiva to Cartagena, one of the most important destinations in the Caribbean region. This start of operations is very important for us as a company, as we will be the only one to connect these two destinations directly, which will save time and money for our travelers, allowing them to fly with all the advantages of the ‘Super Low Cost’ model and with the best punctuality. With this new route we complete 23 destinations to the sea, with which we consolidate our commitment to be ‘The Kings of the Beach’ and contribute to the reactivation of sustainable tourism and the economy of different cities, allowing Colombians to connect with the richness of the country,” said Pablo Madriñán, Commercial Vice President of Grupo Viva.

With the launch of this new route, the company plans to transport close to 50 thousand passengers during the first year of operations, thus generating greater air inclusion in the country, reaching more Colombians with the ‘Super Low Cost’ model.
