The presentation was attended by the governor of the Province of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, together with the company’s president, Pablo Ceriani, and the directors Fabián Lombardo and Ariel Ciano.
“In countries as large as ours, connectivity represents a strategic value that had been lost when the State withdrew from Aerolíneas Argentinas”, said Kicillof and added: “Today we once again have a flag carrier that is equal and that makes decisions that contribute to the economy and quality of life in Mar del Plata, the Atlantic Coast and the whole province of Buenos Aires”, said Kicillof.
Ceriani said that “this corridor has a truly federal character and will serve for the development of tourism and business in all the cities that are part of it without passengers having to go through Buenos Aires to travel around the country”, said Ceriani.

In addition, the company confirmed that the routes connecting Mar del Plata with Córdoba and Mendoza are no longer seasonal routes since April and have become regular routes. In this way, Mar del Plata adds new connection possibilities to the north of the country connecting through the “Córdoba Hub” and also with the destinations operated from Mendoza airport.
In addition to the above mentioned routes, Aerolíneas Argentinas operates flights from Rosario and Tucumán to Mar del Plata during the months corresponding to the high summer season.
