Air Malta celebrated its return to Madrid for the 2022 summer season. Flights to the Spanish capital resumed this Monday, April 4.
The Malta-Madrid route will operate 3 direct frequencies per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) on Airbus A320 aircraft.
→ Iberia adds two new aircraft to its fleet.
These connections are part of about 125 weekly round-trip flights to 18 key European destinations that the airline will serve this summer.
“Our return to the capital of Spain reaffirms our strategic commitment to connect the Maltese islands with major European cities and catchment areas. We have worked hard on a truly ambitious flight operation that demonstrates our firm belief that travel and tourism will recover this summer. We have effectively doubled our capacity from last winter and therefore this new operation signifies Air Malta’s strong commitment to providing more opportunities for both Spanish and Maltese travelers to visit both countries and build stronger relationships,” said Air Malta Chief Executive Officer David G. Curmi.
