Air Transat resumes direct flights to French regions

Air Transat announced the gradual resumption of its operations to different regions of France, with the departure of its first direct flight from Montreal to Marseille last Friday. From Brittany to Provence, Aquitaine and Auvergne, six destinations will again be available to Quebec travelers in the coming weeks. Finally, in addition to gradually increasing frequency between Montreal and the City of Light, the airline will soon relaunch its service to Paris from Toronto and Quebec.

“We are very pleased to resume our flights to the French regions. These routes – most of which we operate on an exclusive basis – have been part of our flight schedule for many years,” said Joseph Adamo, Transat’s Director of Sales and Marketing.

Non-stop service to France

From Montreal, Air Transat will gradually begin flying to Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice and Toulouse in early May. This enhanced schedule of flights to the regions of France is, of course, in addition to the regular daily service to Paris from Montreal, which will reach up to 14 weekly flights in May.
