The president of the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), Juan Manuel Teixeira, informed that the Venezuelan airline Conviasa will fly to Qatar thanks to an agreement signed between the aeronautical authorities of both nations.
→ Conviasa plans to expand its fleet wide-body aircraft.
“Conviasa is going to fly to Qatar. We had an air service agreement with that country that we had never exploited. The Caracas-Doha flight will start before the beginning of the World Cup”, said the official in an interview with Unión Radio.
Teixeira assured that Conviasa will be “the only Latin American airline that will have the possibility of flying to the World Cup”.
The INAC representative expects that fans from the region will travel to Venezuela and then fly to Qatar.
