Conviasa plans to expand its fleet wide-body aircraft.
The vice-president of the Venezuelan airline Conviasa, José Gregorio Márquez, announced that there are plans to expand the company’s aircraft fleet to cover other destinations.
“We plan to expand the aircraft fleet, we have a proposal to acquire more wide-body aircraft”, commented Márquez.

During an interview granted to Unión Radio, he detailed that it is possible that Airbus A340-500 and -600 aircraft may be acquired.
Likewise, he recalled that this Wednesday the Caracas-Madrid-Caracas route will be opened and that routes to Buenos Aires, Lima and Santiago de Chile are already available.
These statements were made during the celebration of the International Tourism Fair in Venezuela (Fitven).
