American Airlines will resume flights to New Zealand in October with daily service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Auckland, after more than two years of suspension due to the Covid pandemic.
The seasonal service will operate from October 29 through March 25, 2023, on Boeing 787-9 aircraft.

“We are delighted to relaunch service to New Zealand in October, connecting Auckland to our Dallas/Fort Worth hub and offering our customers an unmatched network in the U.S. and beyond,” said Jose A. Freig, American’s vice president for international.
For its part, Air New Zealand is re-establishing service to the U.S. and in September will start a flight between Auckland and New York, Air Canada will resume during the summer and from July Hawaiian Airlines will re-launch service between Auckland and Honolulu.
