Russia and China have agreed on a number of key issues in the joint CR929 long-range aircraft project, China’s ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui said in an interview with TASS news agency.

“The creation of the CR929 long-range aircraft is one of the critical joint projects of our countries. The parties, for the time being, have already reached consensus on such key issues as investments, design and division of labor to complete research and development. Joint studies and developments are progressing smoothly and sustainably,” the diplomat noted.
The CR929 project has been underway since 2014.
