Emirates landed in Bali, Indonesia for the first time since the suspension of flights in 2020 due to the pandemic.
Flight EK398 landed at Denpasar International Airport at 22:20 hours last Sunday. The crew and passengers were greeted with the traditional joged bumbung dance performance, reflecting Bali’s unique culture and rich heritage, followed by a cake cutting ceremony attended by representatives from the airport.

The route currently operates fortnightly services, and will expand its flights to the island with a daily service from July 1, 2022.
The resumption of Emirates’ services to Bali comes as international travel restrictions are relaxed and global operations increase.
