Copa Airlines announced Tuesday that beginning June 22 it will operate from the new Terminal 2 at Panama City’s Tocumen International Airport.
In this new terminal, the airline will have 38 check-in counters and 22 self-service kiosks (11 counters and 4 self-service kiosks are for ConnectMiles PreferMembers travelers) and its new Copa Club.

Please take into account the following to avoid travel mishaps:
When your flight departs from Panama:
- Entry to the airport for check-in for your trip will be through Terminal 2 only.
- If you are traveling with luggage, you must go to Terminal 2 to check it in.
- If you do Web Check-In you must also go to Terminal 2 to enter the airport.
When your flight arrives in Panama:
- Immigration and customs processes will be at Terminal 2 for all arrivals.
- If you checked baggage on Copa Airlines, it will be delivered to customs at Terminal 2 regardless of the terminal or gate where your flight arrived.
- Departure from the airport will be through Terminal 2.
When traveling with Copa Airlines on a domestic flight:
- Check-in and baggage check-in will be in Terminal 2.
- If you did Web Check-In and do not need to check baggage, you will also need to go to Terminal 2.
When picking up or dropping off a passenger at the airport:
- All Copa Airlines passengers will be arriving and departing the airport through Terminal 2.
