EasyJet will buy 56 Airbus A320neo aircraft and convert an earlier order into 18 new A321neo aircraft, the British carrier said on Tuesday, completing a deferred deal from 2013 with the European manufacturer.
Deliveries of the planes will begin in easyJet’s fiscal year 2026 to replace the airline’s older A319 and A320 aircraft, Reuters reported.

The planes will be financed from cash flow, sale and leaseback transactions and debt, easyjet said.
Chief Executive Johan Lundgren said the order continues to upgrade the airline’s fleet, providing additional seats and cost efficiencies.
