Iberojet has inaugurated two of its new direct flights scheduled for the summer season: the Barcelona-Cancún that started last Sunday and the Barcelona-Punta Cana on Monday.
Both the new flight from Barcelona to Cancun and the one from Punta Cana are part of the new flight schedule that Iberojet has launched for the summer season, one of the most ambitious in the company’s history, in terms of number of weekly flights and destinations offered since the airline will operate two weekly flights to each destination until mid-September exclusively from Barcelona.

It should be noted that Iberojet will not only offer these two flights from Prat to Punta Cana and Cancun until September, but thanks to the new schedule the airline will offer up to a total of 30 weekly routes to Punta Cana, Cancun, Varadero, Havana , San José (Costa Rica), Los Cabos (Baja California Sur, Mexico) and Mauricio from Madrid, Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon.
“The two direct flights launched by Iberojet from Barcelona to Punta Cana and Cancun are being a complete success. This good reception of both routes is confirmed by the data on the number of reservations, not only on the inaugural flights, but also on those that will take place the rest of the summer”, commented Paul Verhagen, deputy director of Iberojet.
