LATAM will resume its Buenos Aires-Rio de Janeiro and Mendoza-Lima routes

LATAM group announced that, starting in November, it will resume the Buenos Aires – Rio de Janeiro and Mendoza – Lima routes, strengthening its itineraries to and from Argentina.

“This is excellent news for the country’s connectivity, since it not only allows us to provide a better service proposal for our passengers, but also empowers Argentina abroad,” says the Commercial Manager of LATAM in Argentina, Javier Macias.

Buenos Aires – Rio de Janeiro

As of November 2, the company will operate three weekly frequencies on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, between Buenos Aires and the Galeão International Airport. The route will operate with Airbus A320 aircraft, configured with 174 seats.

Mendoza–Lima

As of November 3, the airline will restart its operation between the “El Plumerillo” International Airport and Jorge Chávez International Airport with 3 weekly frequencies on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. The route will operate with Airbus A320 aircraft, configured with 174 seats.

With the restart of this route, the province recovers the destinations operated by the pre-pandemic company. In this way, Mendoza will be connected to the 3 LATAM hubs: Sao Paulo, Santiago de Chile and Lima.
