Germany’s Lufthansa plans to fly the Airbus A380 again from the summer of 2023, the company said on Monday, joining other airlines such as Singapore Airlines, Qantas, ANA, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines that have returned or will return to operating the superjumbo.
Lufthansa said the move is in response to increased demand and delays in aircraft orders, adding that it has yet to decide on the destinations and how many of these planes to put back into the sky.
