Spain’s Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas will add three Airbus A330-200s this month to reinforce its fleet, ahead of the launch of new routes it has scheduled to Colombia and the Dominican Republic starting in July, the airline said in a statement.
The first of the A330-200s will start flying this week and the remaining two will follow by the end of June.
→ Iberia to debut new uniforms in June.
These A330-200s have a capacity for 299 passengers (24 in Business and 275 in Economy), and will join the three Airbus A340s that the airline currently operates.
“We continue to comply with our viability plan, as we have the capacity to expand service to new destinations,” said the airline’s president, Fernando García.
