A plane crashed on Monday on one of the runways at the international airport in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia, without causing the death of any of the 36 people on board, according to the country’s airport authorities.
“The Somalia Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) would like to confirm that an aircraft registered in Kenya with the number 5YJXN and operated by Jubba Airways has crashed,” SCAA Director General Ahmed Moallin Hassan said in a statement.

“The aircraft had a total of 36 people on board, including the crew. They all survived the accident,” Hassan added in that document.
Also, the director general of the SCAA stated that a preliminary report on the accident will be published once the ongoing investigations have concluded, EFE reported.
