LATAM Airlines resumed this Monday its direct flights between Fortaleza and Miami, which had been suspended in April 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The route will operate weekly on Boeing 787-9 aircraft, which have a capacity for 300 passengers (30 Premium Business class, 57 Economy+ and 213 Economy).

“We are strategically resuming the offer of international flights from other airports outside the Rio-São Paulo axis, and the reopening of Fortaleza-Miami shows that we are on the right track to expand our connectivity where there is potential demand,” said Aline Mafra, Director of Sales and Marketing of LATAM Brazil.
Currently, the airline has already resumed operations to 20 international destinations: Asunción, Barcelona, Bogotá, Buenos Aires/Aeroparque, Buenos Aires/Ezeiza, Mexico City, Frankfurt, Lima, Lisbon, London, Madrid, Mendoza, Miami, Milan, Montevideo, New York, Orlando, Paris, Rome and Santiago.
